Hope everyone had a great Labor day. I had to work it, but for double time pay I didn't mind too terribly much. My big question is though, If Labor Day is supossed to honor people who work for a living why are tons of people working that day?

I have been wanting to get my living room walls painted and I am finelly going to be able to do so next week. I have been saying I'm going to get it done weeks ago but am now finally going to stop putting it off.

I am painting one wall bright red and the other three walls will be a beige color. I have added a bright red slip cover to my big sofa and my two chairs are done in  two diffrent shades of beige with red pillows. I will be adding black sheer curtains which will go behind the sofa. I think it's going to turn out really nice.

My husband is making me a 6 foot wide by 1 foot deep mantle which I plan on painting black which will compliment my red wall very nicely. I have three large poster prints which I will reframe in white and hang on the red wall. I can't wait til it all comes together.

My living room was supossed to be blue and beige but the 8 foot rug I ordered came to me in red not blue and I didn't really want to roll it back up and lug it to the post office and so I kept it and I am glad now. I really like it.

My Disney trip is going great. All I have to do now is wait until  Jan. 21st. I was suposed to go in March but finances are allowing me to go in Jan. which was my first choice anyway.

Not much more to really say for now, I lead such an intresting life LOL. I am looking forward to next monthe though as the new Sims 2 expansion comes out.
